O Night Where is Your Day

O night where is your day.
Darkness is all I see.
It pervades every crevice in me.

Morning burst forth awaken my soul
Breath of new and light of hope invade me.

To loud to hear, to blind to see,
My mind a mess,
Every sense I have fails me.
New ears to hear and eyes to see,
My heart cries aloud…to know thee.
Show me, Choose ME, Spirit Consume Me.

You are the life, the light, the hope I need.
I have tried it all and nothing compares
The beauty, splendor, majesty, wisdom, grace
It is for all for me... in me.

Shown the glorious light of salvation,
The cross, the price paid, the separation
Redemption's plan for me.

Chosen before all time and earth
An elect of His from before my birth.
A place at the Table, Oh taste and see.

Indwelling Spirit resides waiting to be heard.
Waiting for me to lay aside, to die
To everything that is Me and all that is Mine.

Revelation, promise, provision beyond my wildest dreams.

Day burst forth in glorious light
As I lay aside, as I die.

The Darkness that was there was all my own
My will, my wants, my whims, and hopes.
As I lay aside and die I make room and way

It’s there I see and find my Great Delight in Thee.
